I Pronounce You Dead.
I lifted
the Necromancer up with the sword, holding him there for a moment before simply
tossing him off to the side… Well, more of threw, but for me it was a simple
toss, sending him into a nearby wall as the sword vanished from his body.
Infinite Blade Works… Fitting name. “Well? Run you fools.” I stated as I turned
around, quickly moving to parry Clementine’s attack through sheer speed to
cross the short distance, mostly having to step around the other people in the
room. I had no real reason to go full out, but I was not entirely aware of how
fast or how strong she was as a person outside of the anime that I first saw
her in back home. Meddy, who was currently curled up and moving around to try
and remain comfortable inside of my clothes. Poor Parasite. It was a quick
fight, my body moving to dodge and parry anything she threw at me and, while I
couldn’t hit her at this moment in time, I was waiting for the others to leave.
Splinters were flying in all directions simply from the tip of my sword, and
the air pressure it was creating from the swings, continued to catch and cut
into the walls and frames of the building around us. Once the adventures were
out, along with their charge, then I went to work.
“Meddy…
Time to get comfortable.” Was the signal, the parasite quickly refusing with me
to the other woman’s surprise. ‘My aren’t you fun… But, you can’t keep up
forever. Maybe I’ll have some fun with you before I kill you.’ She mused,
Clementine taking a small hop back to get some distance and prepare a few of
her abilities. Meddy was still recovering from being thrashed around, but once
she did, all I heard was a simple ‘Are you flirting again!? I am going to have
to keep my eye on you, huh!?’ That eye actually coming out to look straight at
me. “Uh… Meddy… Appearances. Your kind don’t exist here and… Yeah.”
I lazily
pointed over toward Clementine, who actually paused for a moment… She saw the
shift in my eye and the skin around it, but this was odder than that as it
could have been an illusion. The parasite slowly went back into my skull with a
small, embarrassed whine. ‘My that’s an ugly malformation you-‘ Clementine was
silenced on the spot, my hand clasping over her throat and clamped down, my
fingers tightening down around the sides and right between where the jugular
and carotid arteries should be as to avoid knocking her out due to a lack of
blood flow to or from the brain. I was just about to give myself a handicap and
try to make this fight last, but… She had to go and do that.
“Oi… That’s
rude… Don’t go insulting my friends. Granted… That’s the least of what you were
going to do… You were going to take your time with the caster, yes? Going to
kill each of them as slowly as possible… All because you wanted to please
yourself. Now… I was going to be kind and let you have some fun fighting me,
let you giggle like the deprived maniac that you are, but you see… I have other
things that I have to take care of... People will be here soon and you tried to
insult one of my friends. To be honest… I was going to kill you the way that
Ainz did in the series, but… This is close enough.”
With every
additional word, I applied just a little more pressure on the woman’s neck, her
hands grabbing, clawing, and punching at my wildly in an attempt to get away.
When I mentioned Ainz and a series, she went wide-eyed, probably thinking that
I was probably crazier than she was… or simply felt general fear that she was
going to die. “One finger here… Here… and… Here.” I placed one finger near the
base of her neck and pushed down, the second just a few centimeters above it,
and the third right above that. “Do they hang or behead people around here? Eh…
Doesn’t matter. I would honestly feel guilt over this if it wasn’t for my
current mindset and who you are. So, for now… This is done.” In one, sharp
movement I moved my hand to the side and up, sundering her neck and tearing her
head off of her shoulders. My hand rested underneath the base of her neck,
holding it up as he body dropped back.
“The woman
with armor made from the plates of her kills… All of the adventurers she has
murdered… Brought to an end by her own need to cause pain and anguish by
someone who has just changed this cities path to some degree. Heh… Well… Time
for me to leave before they arrive.” With that, I dropped Clementine’s head to
the ground and, with the ring of Ainz Ooal Gown, teleported back to Nazarick. I
went right to my chambers so that I could simply step over to my bed and lay
down before other events unfolded. Wirginia was standing there, who I waved off
for the moment with a simple “I need to go to sleep. Yes, I realize that I am
undead, but I would like to rest. It’s been a long week.” I explained and,
before she could object, I closed the door behind me (Like a prick) and went
straight to bed.
After this
event, things unfolded as they should for the next ten years… I allowed Momonga
to take care of things and, when required, I did my best to advise him to take
the actions appropriate for the circumstance so that things would progress as
they should. I even took it upon myself to follow that group of adventurers I
had saved, staying around as a lazy guardian while I watched them grow and
advance… So slowly… but, at least I wasn’t causing them any grief and, when
needed, I even stepped in to stop them from dying.
At the end of the ten years, well… I already knew what I was going to do… there were people to kill… The Cullens were about to be culled…
You are quite the oddity. While I'm not sure I approve of specifically going to a jump to kill an entire family, you do have that right. I just hope your reasons are somewhat acceptable. - From, an interested Future Jump King
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, they go against nature with what they will become. Vampires are not supposed to be capable of breeding and they eventually kill the oldest family of vampires who, in their eyes are evil when they simply wish to keep the world at peace between vampires and humans. They are the good guys in the story simply because the author wishes it....
