Twelfth Jump (Deus Ex: HR) Part 1

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

CP: 1400cp

Background: Drop-In (Free)

Location/Age: Detroit/27

Perks:
I’ll Never Stop Looking (100cp): Nothing can dissuade me from my goal... but, I may be a mad man.

SWAT Training (100cp): Urban warfare and combat training, along with a few improvements to movement and using firearms.

Give Me Deus Ex (400cp): Check Augmentations. (<-- Hyperlink.)

A Next Step (200cpD): No chance of cybernetic rejection and I can adapt to and get more out of any augmentations I acquire from this point forward.

Ghost (300cpD): Effectively untouchable in the information and bureaucratic labyrinth of any setting that makes use of such things. Primarily cyberpunk settings, such as Deus Ex and Shadowrun.

Augmentations (+100cp Free):

Everything that Jensen has. Just needs to be unlocked through action or time. If I do not do anything, they shall all be unlocked within nine years. (Give Me Deus Ex)

Integrated Weapon Systems: Compact Storm Bolter with Fire Selector (100cp): Placed in the right arm, it is essentially two normal bolters that have been reduced in size by removing unnecessary structures and then linked to fire together at the same target. The fire selector is a mechanism that will allow me to switch between different forms of ammunition from three different, if much smaller, magazines. Up to three magazines can be hooked up to supplement the internal ammo supply.

Integrated Weapon Systems: Compact Semi-Automatic “Stake Thrower” (100cp): Essentially a large, semi-automatic crossbow that is placed within the left arm. The base ammunition is the same as from the HawkEye Xbow XH-II, but are notably heavier and thicker, hence the title of "Stake Thrower".

Equipment:

Body Armor (Free): Basic vest from this setting. Same as Jensen's.

Sunglasses (Free): Same as these (<--Hyperlinked.), but are silver instead of black. They can be retracted into the frame and are actually a flexible, memory-metal mesh... As such they can block bullets and protect the eyes from shrapnel. Transparent from the inside view so that it is as if I wasn't even wearing them.

Weapon: Zenith (Free): Picture link. A semi-automatic, 10mm pistol. Fully ambidextrous and ergonomic. Extremely modular.

Apartment (Free): Finally! An apartment that comes with me... Three rooms, kitchenette, fairly high quality.

Kubrick (50cp): Jensen's dog. Enough said.

Royal Hellhound Cigarettes (50cp): A self-replenishing pack of high quality cigarettes with a nice cinnamon flavor and scent. Oddly warns me to pay attention to no smoking signs. Oh! And it actually gives me a minor boost to energy and recharge rate of said energy. Any energy at that!

Grand Cherry Grog (100cp): A self-replenishing bottle of grog that actually heals me as I drink it. I can drink and be healthy! Does not cure disease.

Drawbacks: The New Black and Gold (+100cp): The constant color scheme of Deus Ex.
Uncontrolled (+100cp): So many broken dishes... Humanity First! (+200cp): Extremists who now apparently follow me around on occasion simply because I have cybernetics. How the heck did they find out where I live!?

Well… This is a Terrible Color Scheme

I let out a long sigh as I found myself sitting in what appeared to be a rather basic apartment, a glass of some form of amber-colored liquor in one hand with a bottle set down in front of me. “Hmm… Wasn’t I in Hell a moment ago?” I asked myself before finally glancing the area. Fia and Cierra were apparently in the kitchenette working on a meal with a confused look on their face, Lina suddenly popped out of the bathroom, dripping wet… Thankfully she had a towel on… and Celestian stepped through the front door with a few groceries in hand. “Mr. Pezrin. It is good to see you again. I imagine that we are somewhere new. Your cybernetic augmentations appear quite sleek compared to before. Would you be so inclined as to explain why?”
Once she had managed to mention my appearance, I looked down to my arm glancing over its sleek, black and dark gold appearance. “Hmm… I know exactly where we are. Good news is it is a futuristic universe… bad news is the fact that the Illuminati are trying cause war and a man’s life was just changed.” A bark echoed through the apartment as a large dog came running up to me with a collar around his neck. The tag read ‘Kubrick’. “And I have a delivery to make.”
I reached over to gently rub the top of the dog’s head for a moment. “Someone is going to love seeing you again, Kubrick.” The dog let out another dog and, before I knew it, Lina had already grabbed the dog and went off to play fetch with him. “Lina always did like unaltered canines. Sad that back home almost all canines had been augmented mentally and physically to be proper killing machines.” I glanced over to Celestian as she spoke, the tall woman walking over to take a seat on the couch after having set the groceries down next to the door, which Fia moved to pick up and put away with Cierra’s help.
Now that I could actual turn off my abilities, most of them were disabled or simply reduced to a large extent. No need to be moving faster than everyone can follow or tanking, well… a tank. “Hmm… Wonder what I actually have…” I muttered, taking a moment to raise up one of my arms and take a look at it. With a thought a pair of sunglasses slipped in over my eyes. “Ah… I have these. Well, they protect the eyes.” A golden hud came up, obscuring my vision, but allowing me to mentally go through everything that was present.
I took a month or so to catalog everything, taking notes where I could while I waited for Jensen to wake up from his traumatic experience. When the day came, I went to his apartment with Kubrick being led along on a leash. His apartment was oddly close to mine and, after having had to sneak around the ‘Humanity First!’ protesters that were staked outside. I took a moment to slip a small letter a small letter into Kubrick’s collar before knocking on the door… Which, I accidentally created a cracked, two-inch deep dent in the door when I did… but, I quickly tied Kubrick off to the nearby fire extinguisher rack and slipped away with the aid of the cloaking system that was installed on my body.

However, I stayed out of the majority of the trouble that occurred around the city, merely keeping tabs on Jensen to make sure he wasn’t going too far or killing too many through a mix of news and simply following him around during his missions and tasks. The plot of this world was simple, it was primarily my own personal life that was a little rough in some regards…
